Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Personal Lines Product Analyst to join our Pricing and Product team. This key role will help to implement underwriting, pricing, and product strategies to support the company’s profitability and growth goals for our Homeowners and Dwelling Fire products. You will work closely with our Sales, Underwriting, and Claims teams to create and execute winning strategies.

This is a remote position working under EST business hours.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

What you will do:
  • Serve as a point of contact for all opportunities and issues related to our Homeowners and Dwelling Fire products.
  • Participate in the development of the annual plan and strategy for its execution.
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify marketing, underwriting and product opportunities; work to identify and develop new product opportunities that produce the level of return expected by Kingstone’s Board of Directors.
  • Evaluate production to determine business quality and pricing opportunities.
  • Understand all applicable regulations and ensure Kingstone understands and is compliant with same; keep apprised of possible regulatory or legislative change that will impact the company.
  • Gain support of executive stakeholders and keep them apprised of progress, accomplishments, and opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of catastrophe modeling and help to effectively manage catastrophe exposure.
  • Build relationships with Sales Reps; propose actions on their input where appropriate.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and work to better position Kingstone in the market.
  • Monitor procedures followed by underwriting and service provided to producers.
  • Keep current on new data sources, service offerings and innovations in the Homeowners market in order to determine relevance for Kingstone.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Homeowners insurance.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a product analyst, analytics, actuarial, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of coverage forms for Homeowners and Dwelling Fire insurance products.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, focusing on leveraging analytics to drive product decisions.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.
